I now hate that site you just linked. Two autoplaying videos at the same time. One just seemed to be a playlist of funny videos with ads between each. The ads were longer than the videos.

I must have missed that. NS and AB have spoiled me. I forget sites have ads these days.

I read the title of this as Chicago Launches Campaign To Control The Internet and I thought it was a CC thread. I had to do a double take and read the title again. My eyes must be getting bad. I would not put it past them though to try a stunt like trying to take over the internet though.

Back on topic, if China is actually trying to do this then good luck. It has been tried before by bigger and badder and they have failed. It will take someone with a lot more clout and bigger guns to get the job done.

If clients want to bypass content filtering they would use a vpn, you can only filter so much before someone uses a method to bypass the security of the country trying to impose its views.
