In light of whistleblower Edward Snowden's masive disclosure of US spy agencies recording traffic and spying on US citizens, the NSA has announced the elimination of 90% of system administrator jobs.  This will be a reduction of around 900 middle class jobs.

More no-e-con-o-me.  Good work to Obama administration.   At least these positions are dead weight sucking wealth from the hard working taxpayers.

To be honest, they sounded understaffed, at least for their new Utah DC. I think they only had 200 employees for that entire facility. Knowing they don't work 24 hours in a row there, that there is likely shift rotations, that leaves a small number of employees for such a vast facility on the clock in any standard 8 hour shift.

Well, the cloud man, it's one time work and then kids on scooters zooming around the Willy Wonka inspired datacenter with headmuff sound protectors and a ski suit.  Oh wait, that's the governments front Google.

Seriously,  Utah is massive spook datacenter. 200 employees is some sick and perverse joke.  Considering 8 hour shifts, time off, 24/7 staffing, etc.  Can't be more than around 35 admins there at most times.  Pitiful.
