I created this script for myself, but looks like many people found it useful so yesterday I pushed some improvements and bugfixes.

Doesn't OpenVPN offer an automated paid version (free for 1-2 users) already?

If you need more number of users, its well worth the effort to learn a bit more about a security system than just rely on a 3rd party automated script, IMHO.

They offer a web interface, yeah.

But not all people wants to get a webserver running just to get OpenVPN.

Also, you are free to submit a pull request if you think something about the script isn't reliable.

I'm going to have to give this a go later today. Never messed with OpenVPN that much, aside from having to connect to a VPN server for work.

No need for a script you can install with just 3 commands:

sudo wget http://swupdate.openvpn.org/as/openvpn-as-2.0.7-Ubuntu12.amd_64.deb

dpkg -i openvpn-as-2.0.7-Ubuntu12.amd_64.deb

sudo passwd openvpn

set your password and it is ready...

Admin UI: https://YourIpAddress:943/admin

Client UI: https://YourIPAddress:943/

Do you care to read the script? It's totally different, your "magical commands" are for the commercial edition.

Thats limited amount of users since it's got the Web Portal
