Sites are still loading extremely slowly during cPanel backups (yesterday the backups ran for more than 7 hours wtf?) and I have been given an ETA of one week.

I'm hoping this can be resolved ASAP. The service had been rock solid, but not in this month.
User triggered ones, etc. You'd be surprised how many files some people have.

We're just missing some processors, so I'm hoping to have those in hand by Tuesday/Wednesday. Once those ar there I can actually get the maintenance done.

The initial debugging I did helped greatly but it's not going to address derpy hardware.

While the pages are loading faster than they used to be in recent past, noticing 3-4 min outages from monitoring. That's not much of an issue for my site though.

Why did all these issues *suddenly* appear though?

You're acting like it's 50 things and the box is catching fire.

There's 2 issues, 1 is due to an update pushed by one of the platforms we use (which means others will suffer, or already are suffering, similar) the other is the drives are finally getting pushed hard enough for the hardware to act up.

We've not sold any plans on this node in 3 weeks and haven't provisioned new nodes yet until we're sure the improvements to the 1st one are confirmed.

Besides this, look at the price. It is already extremely cheap and support is awesome.

Yesterday I received a reply to my ticket within 10 minutes. On a sunday. If that isn't quality support I'm not sure what is.

Cost should never be an excuse for not being able to meet expectations of a product. If you're forced to deliver a subpar product just because you decided to compete on price, then you need to really re-evaluate your business model.

Up until mid last month everything was kosher so it isn't a case of cutting corners or anything like that for us. It's purely a hardware thing and me not planning delivery times properly :)

Yup, been a bit bumpy lately...here's from my monitoring of the dedicated IP for the BuyShared-Reseller 125G account:

I have a weekly backup running, but it has to do a full account backup, tar and upload.

Is there any way to use CPRemote or a similar backup system but we can each enter our own offsite ftp/sftp/rsync details? So when the normal system backups run, they can also push them offsite - ideally just a diff.

Not sure if this is doable, but it would definitely be better than my hacky full account backup script I'm using.

We're just figuring out how we want to do cpRemote.

Originally we were storing the backups over the network but that turned into a bit of a struggle since they stored to the same server as VPS backups.

Our current plan is to have local RAID 10 spinning rust in each node for cpremote. Shared02 will have it available from the get go, LU & Shared01 soon after.

Shared02's a bit delayed since I got called away to fix up VPS backups.

Hello.

I came here from LET. I have a xenforo forum and I want a shared plan from you. I see it's out of stock - will it be available anytime soon? and do you help with migration from older hosting (tsohost) they don't use cpanel, but they have their own panel.

Thank you and my first VPS was from BuyVM - before I managed to buy a server from online.net - so thanks a lot for what you are offering for this marketplace. Wish you all the best and luck.

Edit: I see Luxembourg plans are available. Can I get one? How is the uptime there and they are SSD + litespeed? and what is the limit of cloudlinux!?

Uptime's solid. It's built the same as Vegas, pure SSD's, litespeed, cloudlinux. We have things left at the stock cloudlinux settings for now minute inodes ramped a fair bit and IO a bit higher. We may tune the RAM stuff a bit but since the boxes all have plenty of spare RAM (we usually have 16 - 20GB spare on a 100% full node), i'm not in a real rush to do so.

You can order Luxembourg, it's listed on WHT. I'll update the main post of this thread a little later :)

What's your order ID? :)

If your payment went through it should've been accepted by now.

Hi thanks.

It is: 130460

Edit: I found the welcome email in the spam folder. I guess everything is OK now.

BTW, do you help with migration or I have to do the steps by myself?
