    Crowdfunding - Custom WHMCS Implementation

Also now you've just alienated your entire supporters.  Come on man.  This? http://i.imgur.com/G0ZFRrh.png You're asking people to help fund/start this project.  Those who fund it will feel like they're somehow involved/incorporated into the project.  Now you change the main image to that.  ...

    Crowdfunding - Custom WHMCS Implementation

Big this.  It doesn't matter if you're non-profit or for-profit.  Certain grants have different qualifications and some of them aren't focused on non-profits.  The radio station we built was funded 100% through grants from non-profit organization (we had our own office for years and our own...

    Crowdfunding - Custom WHMCS Implementation

Follow up thought. You're basically asking people for your initial start-up costs.  The only actual service-giving tier is the $5k, and that's for 5 years.  That's $1k per year, which comes down to basically paying $83.33 per month.   When I was in the States I was paying Comcast $40 per month...

    Crowdfunding - Custom WHMCS Implementation

I find so many things wrong with this.   It shows you only have two people on your team.  A web designer and you.  Why do you need a web designer on the team?  What does he bring to the table that you can't just use part of the funding to simply pay a web designer to take care of it?  What's...

Can I transfer a BuyVM Yearly?

I think they simply refund you for the amount of time you don't use.  Don't quote me on it but I think that's their usual policy with it.

For thoose who doesnt use control panels - mail

Haha.  I'm just going to assume this is all about incoming e-mails and mailboxes (because outgoing there's those bulk-mail services like mandrill and whatnot).   Originally relied on a 3rd part service (http://mxroute.com by Jarland's a nice service, although I will admit he's partnered with us...

VPSDime - Free Offloaded MySQL Service in Dallas

Hot damn!  Those are one beefy specs!  Dang!   That's awesome, though.  Like totally!  I just wonder how high-crowded it'll end up being (and how it might affect performance).

    About networking

    1. Every VPS does NOT need it's own Public IP. You can always NAT them. 2. If you had a Dedicated server with 3 IPs, you can install however many VMs onto it but with NAT-ed IPs. If you want 1 VPS to 1 IP then you can only have 3 VPSes on that server.

    The cesspit / chat thread.

I think they meant 256 MB vSwap instead of Burst?

Front Range Hosting website and SolusVM Master down temporarily

Haha clarification. What I meant wasn't taking down the server to remove and inspect the liquid coolant, but to have liquid coolant in the location to begin with. I mean unless every server has been outfitted with liquid cooling, it was my understanding that all servers were cooled by air via...

Front Range Hosting website and SolusVM Master down temporarily

Glad that was taken care of! Although that's an incredibly unusual reason usually to take a server down!

    Incero spamming?

Alright come on man. I think you're just angry today or something. Point being, you provide Incero your e-mail because you were interested in their services. Being an individual who can possibly be interested in their VM line, they reach out to you to see if you're interested. I don't see the...

    VPN.sh Large VPN Review

You can setup VPN.sh on the chromebook by following these steps: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/1282338?hl=en Although it's a possibility you might have to rearrange and break down a file or two to fit the chromebook's requirements but vpn.sh should have already provided the...

    Promocodes in Adwords?

I'd say what @SPINIKR-RO said.   Create a landing page for that specific advertisement.  Also use analytics software like piwik or something to see where they're going from there (or to see who gets on to that page to begin with).

What do you use your servers for?

IRC Bouncer, monitoring, hosting for minor projects, computational reasons (CFD), VPN, etc.   More and more of my processing power is being spent on CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) calculations.
