New Dedicated Servers offers Fast hardware great support

Cleaned up this thread. For anyone with any quarrels, please open up a new thread instead of replying to the offer thread :) It's just bad etiquette.  Also please add the datacenter location (more specific information please).

The only engineer in a business meeting..

It wasn't bad really.  I mean those are obviously just the "extreme" incidents I had there.  Wasn't bad.

Is there any interest in a cheap stats/metric service? [e.g. $.05/metric/month]

Also to add, if you use the Observium Agent (forgot the actual name for it), it can also monitor Apache, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.  I have it running on a private installation of mine and it works fine.  Granted sometimes it's a PITA to work with because there isn't much documentation on it, but...

Is there any interest in a cheap stats/metric service? [e.g. $.05/metric/month]

This is mostly geared towards websites but Statuscake can possibly be one? https://www.statuscake.com/paid-website-monitoring/ It's around 6 pounds a month for the "every 1 minute" check.  It's decent from when I used it last. Also, 5 minutes isn't that bad in my opinion.   But if you really...

The only engineer in a business meeting..

Haha while it is true they're basically saying buzz words (lets face it, they don't know what they're talking about and yet think they're more knowledgeable than the "expert"), it's part of the expert's job to clearly communicate with those non-expert/technical individuals in a way they...

How would you organize dozens/hundreds of vids on a page?

There's multiple approaches. Yep like what @tchen said the accordion is probably the most favorable. There's also the Youtube approach, where each "playlist" basically just lays out the previews of the video in a standard table-like format (like so: http://www.youtube.com/user/Vsauce/videos )...

The only engineer in a business meeting..

... This has happened so many times. "Can you find the difference between ___ and ___?" "No, because those two variables in no way have any relationship to each other because they're totally different to each other." "Yeah but we need to make this graph." "But the graph would be incorrect...

    Tips for an Upcoming Provider

If these are owned hardware remember to keep spare parts on site. 4x 2TB SATA hard drives at 7.2k RPM should be fine to start with but I'd suggest SSD-Cached to improve I/O (this can come later though). Good choice on Hardware raid. Personally, I'm not a big fan of E3 nodes, but whatever...

    ioncube vulnerability in loader wizard

Zoned.pw links are pretty pointless because they regurgitate other people's findings (and is just a script kiddie trying to act cool). Here's a more detailed version about this: http://www.firefart.net/multiple-vulnerabilities-in-ioncube-loader-wizard/ Basically, if you've updated your...
