using dedicated server for the first time.

Or get someone to install a virtualization layer on top of it if it is just something you want to screw around with. Much easier destroying the container then re-formatting the entire server.

    Ghost.org: where the money went

I have to agree here. I understand the desire to build a proper infrastructure but I see no reason for those hardware investments when they could launch on a reputable/scalable provider and eventually grow into a dedicated infrastructure.

Did the GVH site just get ripped by 'GreenValueNetworks'?

Hm, that was a post made in 2012. This makes no sense at all

Did the GVH site just get ripped by 'GreenValueNetworks'?

Based on that... you can pretty much assume that they are in a position to give GVH a run for their money.  It is no shock that they are also using a nulled copy of WHMCS (reported)

    Device security while traveling?

All of my devices use full disk encryption, this includes all phones, tablets and Laptops. This is mainly to protect data from theft rather then police/boarder control searches as I have a lot of sensitive data stored on my devices such as SSH keys.

How much data do you use on your Mobile Phone in a typical month? I currently use ~30-35 GB of data in a typical month on my mobile phone. This month is a bit abnormal due to me getting a new phone and I had to re-download most of my applications again so I have officially passed the 50 GB mark.

Tablet cases / covers that don't suck - Group recommendations requested

I have been a user of Poetic cases for quite a while. They are ~$10.00 on Amazon and seem to work better then most cases on the market. I have an Nvidia Shield and although I purchased the $40.00 OEM case, I still use the Poetic case, leaving the official one in the box.

    Android watches

Good Afternoon, I am a huge fan of Android Smartwatches and have owned a few personally. Although I do like the look of the Moto 360, I have heard some users complaining that the watch's battery life tends to fall short of expectations. If you want a "Round" watchface, the best one out there...

RemoteRAM Announces The Future of Cloud Based RAM

For Immediate Release RemoteRAM was founded in early 2015 to answer a simple question that has plagued the IT industry for hours; If we can offload compute and storage into the cloud, why not RAM?. With that question in mind, our engineers spent the next 6 weeks in a pub to ponder and plan the...
