This is my main status server that runs Observium and a couple custom scripts so I've decided to move it to one of my dedicated servers. 

What kind of shipping, just basic USPS?

I just got my first warning for too much resource usage and I was wondering what you all think is "fair use" on part of a VPS provider. Would a consistent 1.0 load be considered too much usage? What would you consider "fair use" in a shared VPS environment?

If on a mac you can use Sitesucker than upload that to a webserver. I've done it and it works beautifully.

Has anyone else noticed higher than normal latency on the Softlayer network recently? 

Personally I like an honest answer. I once had a problem with a provider on here and they told me straight up what the problem was and how they fixed it and asked me to check to make sure the problem was gone, it was. Even if it takes you an hour or three to let me know what's going on, I don't...

TextWrangler for coding. Alfred is awesome for search and can run other macros, it's an everyday use tool for me. Cyberduck is my favorite file uploading tool. It supports FTP and everything plus it supports S3, Rackspace Cloud... and many other places. It's awesome!

Twilio is awesome. I've had great success with them.

I'm running a script that checks the memory usage of nginx and php and then limits their memory usage if they step over... then again, my webserver has 2gb dedicated ram, so that rarely happens.

Requirements: 8gb Ram Single Xeon processor or Core series... speed doesn't matter much. 100mb line 500gb Bandwidth 2x250gb Drives. Price: 35/month, maybe more if needed. Only really need this for a month for a client project I'll be working on. Thanks.

I generally don't mind under-clocking my servers, I don't always need the full power of the processor. Most modern servers will automatically step up and down the clock speed on the server with the demand. 

I get different results when using this test script. Other scripts don't have the same issues.
