Vote for your favorite graphics chip manufacturer

I thought that it would be interesting to see how the members of this community would vote on this :) - I have tried to get the most relevant manufacturers that are left in this industry on that list, however if I've left someone out I am sorry.

    Stripe - Updated

@WSWD there are two ways to look at this, kind of like a double edged sword: your record with your payment processor is a key factor for them in determining if you are worth keeping around; previous volume of business and how much money they made from you versus how much they've spent on you is...

Reserving Disk Space you Purchased from the Oversold VPS providers

Here is a simple way to look at things: provider should make sure that safeguards are in place for customer not to be able to abuse node CPU abuse, I/O abuse, network abuse and so on are wrong and provider has to deal with abusers disk space is a finite resource that a customer is paying for...

[Catalyst Host] 35% off all plans. KVM starting at $6.50/m, OpenVZ @ $5.19/m.

I know these guys and they are really good. The KVM node has excelent specifications, and SSD caching is done using a high end Adaptec controller (no corner cutting with software solutions). We work with similar nodes as well so I can  vouch for the performance and quality that you will get if...

    Frozen Yogurt

Frozen yogurt isn't really frozen yougurt, it's more like "tzitropish" with lots of corn syrup, some artificial flavoring and coloring and every now and then they throw some gelatine in there for consistency. And then they have the odacity to call it "low fat" :o

Reserving Disk Space you Purchased from the Oversold VPS providers

Meh, @Francisco at BuyVM knows his stuff when it comes to virtualization and he does things well. It's the providers that are trying to exploit OpenVZ in order to make a quick buck that screw the pooch and give OpenVZ a bad reputation. A rotten apple can spoil the entire barel... that's how the...

    Web based email

@jcaleb back in the day I was using it with Apache, but I don't see why it wouldn't be. Basically what it boils down to with Nginx is that people need to write their own rewrite rules instead of relying on .htaccess files. However most PHP applications do the rewriting internally, so you only...
