Google: "Gmail users shouldn't expect email privacy"

Same with me. I really don't give a damn. Read my emails if you'd like. You won't find much interesting.

    Personal Pet Peeves

How observant. As it happens it did. On a long 7-8 hour drive from Oregon to Boise, Idaho. Drivers on I-84 and I-205 are crazy.

    Personal Pet Peeves

An addendum to my list. 1. People who are total a**holes while driving. PERSON WHO NEARLY REARENDED ME 3 TIMES TODAY I'M LOOKING AT YOU! 2. People who don't move over for a stopped Police officer. How would YOU like it if crazy. Drivers went 60+ MPH inches away from you? 3. People who...

Good ol' debate OpenVZ vs KVM - Why yes, why not?

Are you sure? OpenVZ can be oversold to insane levels, lowering its cost. Meanwhile, KVM (for the most part) can't be, meaning you can't keep it as low of cost.

    Personal Pet Peeves

Oh boy. Here goes. 1. Drivers who tailgate you/ follow too closely. If only I were a full deputy and not a mere cadet. You'd have a nice $280 fine waiting for you!!! 2. Problematic clients. Clients who insist that their VPS not working because they did something stupid is OUR FAULT, I'm...

[Industry Question] How Do You Pay Support Staff?

I get paid mostly in servers, but I average ~$30 per week. Then again, I work only a couple of hours every week. Like 2 or 3. I have no idea how ANY student could run a VPS hosting business during the summer. I'm WAAAAY too busy!

Good ol' debate OpenVZ vs KVM - Why yes, why not?

Opera - great but privacy sucks

I honestly don't really understand why people are SO EXPECTANT OF PRIVACY ON THE INTERNET!!! Governments will find ways to track your usage regardless, and overall how much of an impact does it REALLY make on your life? Not that much, unless you're doing something illegal/of questionable...

Hopefully we'll FINALLY be able to fix the various annoyances we've been having with our OVZ Node in NY. Network issues, etc. SO MUCH PAIN!

    BLUE VM down !

Basically what is down for us is our 2 cPanel Servers, and possibly some Dedi's we've resold to clients in KS. Our VPS Nodes in KS are apparently at a different facility that's not affected. Quite a mess it appears :(

    BLUE VM down !

There is an issue with one of WSI's upstream lines that is preventing things from working. They're working on fixing it now. As always, feel free to hop on our IRC Channel to get help with the issues.

    Live chat

Tickets can be a somewhat hard way to handle things like sales and some tech support issues. IRC is a nice way to do it.

How to gauge the quality of a provider's network

I'd like to see some AboveNet if you can get it. A good chunk of Oregon is fed off of AboveNet.

    Ideas and suggestions for vpsBoard

I'd like to see Markdown as well, **IF** the annoying line break thing could be fixed. Being able to use <img> tags was handy, since the photo button isn't present on mobile phones.
