100% agreed. Though I don't believe I've found a way to force a password change on initial login for SolusVM/VPS accounts, I highly recommend implementing such a policy with shared/reseller.
That's an interesting way to look at it, thanks. My thought was that anonymity would bring abuse, which we certainly don't want on our network and IP space. We might just take a second look at accepting BItcoin.
Interesting. We've used Authorize for many, many years and have never had a problem with them!
For those of you discussing adding bitcoin to your services, how does that impact your methods of fraud prevention? One of the downsides to Bitcoin I've always thought in terms of accepting it for...
Hahaha, my bad. I combined the two lines. I really should read what I'm saying before I submit something... I meant either an Evo or a Pro -- both are fantastic.
I've gone back and forth between Seagate and WD for standard HDDs. For SSDs I've had fantastic luck with the Samsung Evo 840 Pro's. I've yet to have one fail or degrade!
I know I'm late to this thread, but... closest I can find: http://tier.net/e3special which, when upgraded comes out to $114/mo or $354/quarter -- but that's 5TB of B/W not 10TB. Looks like an upgrade to 10TB is an additional $25/mo.
We certainly use FR, but it's not the only tool in our toolbox. We actively report people on it to build up the community, but don't heavily rely on it.
For us it always takes a while to get a first initial response. After that initial response you can usually get a response pretty quickly, that is, if you are right by your computer and respond the instant John replies back.
Possibly. I certainly hope so! I used to have ComCast, and let me say -- they are the vain of my existence.
That being said, I currently get internet from my local municipality which runs a fiber network. It's a small town, so obviously wont be up for Google Fiber anytime soon, but I've always...
I've used them, they're not my favorite though. I find the interface super clunky and ineffective. The ones I had, had no CLI which was frustrating as well. However, once I got everything configured it worked just fine. I used a PPTP VPN behind it, nothing fancy. No complaints besides the...
We can certainly work something out for you. Feel free to PM me or email me jacob [at] iwebfusion . net or sales [at] iwebfusion . net to discuss details, so I can give you an accurate quote.
Oh, I'm certainly no expert on IPv6. I'm still working on updating my CCNA, just gotta put that one final push before I go test. But I think I have at least an okay understanding of it, Thanks though :)
Sure, it's an end user assignment, but it's also 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 IPv6 addresses. Which is a decent amount of addresses, not necessarily for IPv6 -- but it's a large number.
Try checking out tier.net -- they may be able to help you. Not an offer, just a suggestion :) -- my guess is that most companies may be hesitant to give that outright to you, but if you have a proven track-record with them, they might be more inclined. Or have you maybe thought about asking if...
That's really scary....
I don't think that would make a difference. If I were you I would jump ship from that whole family of companies, but that's just my two cents.
Absolutely! Unless they are counting their reseller's account in that number. I kind of doubt it though. I'm digging the "overpacked and quad stacked" -- you should coin that. Almost sounds like it could be a little bit of a jingle.... Yah know, if that's what you want to promote about your...
