    $50 Linode Promotional Credit

Signed up with the promo code - and your referral code. Surprisingly, this is my first time trying Linode. Looking forward to good things :) Just out of curiosity, what do you get for my signup? $10 credit or something?

Did anybody else grab a Raspberry Pi from FitVPS during yesterday's special?

Is anyone still offering free RPi colo? I have a Pi sitting around that never made it in to the project I was planning. Love to get it online.

Corgi Tech ★ 1GB Linux VPS $7 or Windows $10 ★ 10! Locations to Choose from

Great! I'm surprised you didn't know, though, they've had it for a while. I would have thought they'd send out an email to all their clients when it became available.

    Newegg introduces Bitcoin support

As geeks, I know many of us here use Newegg for our tech purchases. That's why I'm sure a lot of you will be happy to hear that they now accept Bitcoin payments. That is all.

Corgi Tech ★ 1GB Linux VPS $7 or Windows $10 ★ 10! Locations to Choose from

No mention of IPv6, do you support it? To the best of my knowledge, most (if not all) of the providers/locations you mention have IPv6 available.

London Teen Charged in Connection with Massive Spamhaus DDoS Attacks

Where does SpamHaus even get it's info? End-user reports? Honeypot e-mail addresses?

GreenValueHost becoming ColoCrossing, dumping providers, etc.

GVH sent out another e-mail about their plans for "Migration-Consolidation-Stabilization". I finally got around to submitting a ticket demanding complete cancellation of my services with them (I know, I know, should have been done months ago). They agreed, then proceeded to delete my client area...

    VMBox.Co - SSD Cached VPS - Dual E5-2620v2 - Free WildCard SSL - From $3/m -NL/PHX/LA

Clicking on the order link, it seems not. Just check the box and open a ticket after order. Interesting, the $20/year deal in L.A. is usually $120 a year - a $100 discount. I'm always suspicious of such prices, especially when they include something like this wildcard cert. Usually those retail...

Encrypting /LVM Partition Ubuntu on KVM

No experience with this myself, but have you considered grabbing a KVM from someplace else to test it on another provider's hardware? If it works there, then it's most likely a RamNode problem and you could open a ticket.

    Colocrossing Achieves Top 5 Rank

Well, ColoCrossing is down 70-58. That's quite a gap to bridge for the #1 spot. But don't worry Biloh, we all have 100% faith in your (in)ability!

drServer.net - Check out redesigned SugarVPS

What I do like is that the main site is unique. Also, I very much like the different levels of support and management that are available - sets you guys apart for sure if well done. On the other hand, I hate to be picky, but as any good provider around here will tell you, it's the little things...

Not Fedora, but I've done Ubuntu release upgrades on OpenVZ with no problem. (900th post!)

China Launches Campaign To Control The Internet

I now hate that site you just linked. Two autoplaying videos at the same time. One just seemed to be a playlist of funny videos with ads between each. The ads were longer than the videos.

    Colocrossing Achieves Top 5 Rank

Gmail is great for spam, I see maybe a half dozen spam e-mails make it through per year. More trouble with false positives, but again maybe once a month on those. And yes, I occasionally delve in to the spam pit and when I check the IPs, I get some ColoCrossing. TL;DR: In my experience, Gmail...
