Regarding new offers and post counts.

I wouldn't mind having to pay to post offers, but then we would need to receive invoice for the payments made, and vpsboard would probably need to incorporate for this. We (as a company) can't just send money to some random guy's paypal address, our accountant would want to kill me if i were to...

NEW Video: Watch the QuadraNet Team Build Dozens of Servers!

That poor guy, he probably has back pains already. You should get him a higher work bench. Or a chair with wheels. I can imagine doing this for hours can be quite tiring and would result in back strain. But good work nonetheless :)

PayPal Has to Pay $25 Million for Being Sketchy as Hell. $15,000,000 in user refunds plus $10,000,00

How is revenue calculated for payment processors? If i send you $100 via paypal you will get $96.30 ($3.70 would be paypal fees). In this case is paypal's revenue from this transaction $100 or $3.70?

Back To School special - 42% OFF for Raspbery Pi

@Neo no, because we would need to modify it (solder on it and some other things) and then it would no longer be usable for you when you decide you want it back.

Back To School special - 42% OFF for Raspbery Pi

No plans for Raspberry Pi 2, it's not worth it. We have some vague plans for offering some other ARM based micro servers. Eventually. Hardware mods: like soldering wires for powering the Raspberry directly to the board (the microUSB connector sux). Also some mods necessary to make the SD card...

    How cheap can they go?

@drmike you can check the Olimex boards - there are some that can be powered from a LiPo battery too. And have SATA interface. The SATA transfer speed is not terribly fast though, probably due to CPU limitations. https://www.olimex.com/Products/OLinuXino/open-source-hardware

@drmike there are such ARM boards, but none of them is anywhere close to $9.

How To: Determining how many 'VPS neighbors' you have or if you are on an oversold OpenVZ node

You are right, i was looking at the "cpuset" line, and should have looked at the "devices" line. So it works, but only shows the number of running containers, doesn't count the stopped ones.

How To: Determining how many 'VPS neighbors' you have or if you are on an oversold OpenVZ node

This is our test / QA node, hence i know exactly how many containers are on it. My point was that the count isn't right, when is substract 1 from the cgroups count, it still leaves 3 and there are only two containers on the node.

How To: Determining how many 'VPS neighbors' you have or if you are on an oversold OpenVZ node

    Something is not quite right: # cat /proc/cgroups #subsys_name    hierarchy    num_cgroups    enabled cpuset    3    4    1 cpu    3    4    1 cpuacct    3    4    1 devices    4    3    1 freezer    4    3    1 net_cls    0    1    1 blkio    1    4    1 perf_event    0    1    1 net_prio  ...
