[Confirmed] GreenValueHost being sold to XFuseSolutions

Like I said somewhere in these 10 pages, aren't those sort of deals - the IOU's common in the industry? Seems to be what mostly happens unless your upstream takes it for owed back money or where the company was that small that pocket change suffices. No surprises here :)

[Confirmed] GreenValueHost being sold to XFuseSolutions

I have no authority to know.    But I don't believe there is any such person any longer with GVH. There was a fellow though with that name I do know that.  Mind you 'staff' are getting tossed. Why?  Because Duke doesn't intend on operating a circus. Enough clown routines dealing with Jonny.

No Good Deed Goes Unrewarded: ColoCrossing Boots the Booters / DDoS

Right there with you Anthony.  I am thinking they have limited tools / options to work with. I sure feel for the resellers and VPS folks.... I am expecting they can opt folks out of such.  Which then will have me wondering if the good paying stressers are paid opt out too. Then again probably...

[Confirmed] GreenValueHost being sold to XFuseSolutions

Indeed, the way this was leaked sucks.  That was taunting folks Jonny was with his ever changing haircolor signature on WHT and then PM'ing MannDude to taunt him about such.   The kid was warned prior, told about it after and if it all this doesn't happen that will almost surely be due to his...

[Confirmed] GreenValueHost being sold to XFuseSolutions

Yeah let's say Duke wasn't thrilled about that.   If you look that has been updated, was last night.  You can blame Jonny for writing in public on that one.  I need to talk to Duke about revoking some privileges or something here in interim. What Duke posted is as follows...

[Confirmed] GreenValueHost being sold to XFuseSolutions

That's a good question @MattKC and I'm glad you asked it, cause I sure would have. I glanced the WHT thread,  the prices were low, but they were up for GVH. Duke approved those to move the idle inventory.  This time next month, probably won't be running them that low though.

[Confirmed] GreenValueHost being sold to XFuseSolutions

Indeed.   I can't see those lingering because they aren't sustainable on multiple levels I cannot say.    Those with them can keep them and perhaps returns will go back out, but not going to be at those stupid prices.

[Confirmed] GreenValueHost being sold to XFuseSolutions

No way Pieman, no way. Lance, hahaha. Certainly not him.  That bloke isn't involved in much of anything in this industry in recent years. The guy remaining is helpdesk and based in the UK is my understanding. Director of Jasolav?  That was some skit.   Precisely why no one really wanted to...

Centarra Migrates Data Centers Some Customers Not Notified

[Confirmed] GreenValueHost being sold to XFuseSolutions

Person is an actual worker who pulls his own weight, actually works.  Which is rare in ticket desks. Audit, yeppers.   As you'll note things are pending and delayed.  That's so things can be quiet and numbers ran, crap cleaned and free/comp'd/misifit stuff well documented.  This whole circus...

[Confirmed] GreenValueHost being sold to XFuseSolutions

Don't hold me to it. Name, meh.  Ahh me, I've recommended burning anything with GVH / Greenvaluehost on it out in the firepit.  I think it's a deterrent to sales.  Could go either way.  But piss poor approach to divest customers to another company, then have that company operate under...

Centarra Migrates Data Centers Some Customers Not Notified

Centarra a provider offering out of Dallas, Texas, appears to be right now doing a crazy data center migration.  Customers allegedly were not told of the migration and are living through the unplanned downtime. As per their website: http://centarra.com/

No Good Deed Goes Unrewarded: ColoCrossing Boots the Booters / DDoS

Has your server / your customers hit such limit and received the throughput limitation for 48 hours? I can see this cap being very bad especially for VPS companies.

[Confirmed] GreenValueHost being sold to XFuseSolutions

Not my handiwork, but since it was out there via customer system and on WHT offer: Some of that may change slightly by game day.  Prices will remain for customers though.   New staff is tight knit group, so anyone prior concerned (rightly) about privacy of their account and such, just know...

SolusVM pricing from OnApp Going Forward

Yeah I'd be surprised too.  Typical marketing bullshit.  Show up for the promotion and leave for the show.. Herrhmmm... Someone get it on paper already. Price as-is is perma paid monthly by large provider subsection.  They are essentially on cash flow autopilot. That pays for dev and a lot...

SolusVM pricing from OnApp Going Forward

Been a bit since OnApp acquired SolusVM. Back when that deal happened a lot of folks were rightly concerned with maintaining their pricing and not seeing prices inflate and get out of control.   People back then asked for price lock guarantees.   Did anyone get anything to this effect...

    [ASK] VPS Business from HOME?

Yeah, and usually resellers don't even get that right. Raise your hand if some wannabe millionaire reseller contacted you asking to borrow your content for their website?  Or just straight up stole it, threw their logo and name in it?

He could sell colocation.  No limits there or reason to. Him absconding with customer gear, teehee, that ever happens I'll be here with a pitchfork and chase him like I did the Burst.net clowns.
