There are small distros for router / firewall functionality.  Should fit in very small VPS footprint. That will require 2 VPSes on same server/network though.  Additional cost obviously.  

The OVH customer support debugging is to determine really what the customer subscribed to.  Support guarantees on the cheap/non business stuff is long.

You do realize topics routinely start as a subject in mind and later other companies often get injected.     I just did both in one post.  Would it have been less impactful to you if I mentioned the multitude of other LowEnd hive companies engaging in the same conduct instead of that company...

Unsure what causes this limit on single thread transfers in said network.   It's rather common problem with major cable companies in States.  Someone must have sold the major cable co's the same QoS solution. It gets into hacking configs and non standard stuff, but multithreaded multi file xfer...

Problem, they QoS everything.   Even VPN/SSH/Proxy is impacted to ugly negative effects.   The approach is fine so long as you are moving remote data between remote datacenter sites.   If you need to download that data to local, there is no fixing their stupid ugly network and QoS stomping.

Come on @Sonwebhost, again the OP has specs and you miss the target. 200GB of space minimum bubba.

I say good!  Chicagoland needs more options. Continuum gets a bad rap.  Some of it is deserved from time to time.  Overall though, I don't think recently they've been as bad as in the past.   I've found their network to be nicely peered with some of my upstreams and no slowdowns that are...
