Thank you Mun for providing a voice of reason on this forum. Let us hope the sense spreads to others.

    RamNode Offers DDoS Protection (Seattle)

I'm surprised it's 15ms from PDX -> SEA. Especially since I get ~25ms ping times from near Salem, OR to Seattle, on a not sp great ISP.

FBI spreading backdoor software via 4chan kid material

Oh. Hi then. If it's not you, then who is it? He needs his Internet taken away. Forever.

FBI spreading backdoor software via 4chan kid material

Psst. zoned.pw is (I'm pretty sure) run by Mr. Curtisg. You know, the idiot who claimed he was going to hack/DDoS all teh hosts. Some people need to not be on the Internet...   Edit: OH. Look at his PREVIOUS post. http://zoned.pw/?p=258 @Francisco Is this true? Or is he just blowing smoke (like...

    IOS 7. Meh.

I'm waiting eagerly for an iOS 6.1.3 Jailbreak. I was silly and stayed on iOS 5 and couldn't update to 6.1.2 (which there's a JB for). Now that I'm on 6.1.3... No JB and I miss my tweaks!!!

    IOS 7. Meh.

An iOS 7 JB will probably take a while, due to the massive changes. iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 is supposedly close. Not sure how long it'll be though...

    IOS 7. Meh.

I updated from iOS 5.1.1 to 6.1.3 after iOS 7 was released. Waiting eagerly for a 6.1.3 Jailbreak to be released. I'll probably stick with iOS 6 (which I'm regretting not having updated to earlier), which has a few features I actually find useful. I miss all my Jailbreak tweaks though...

iPhone 5s is the best iphone since the last iphone

The thing is, 99%+ of the General US Population quite literally doesn't give a shit about the NSA Spying scandal mess. It is a nice way to unlock your phone, and it's potentially more secure, since you can't go and use "0000" for your passcode.

    IPMI Help

I use IE 10 with the DRAC in my PowerEdge because 1. it officially supports IE and doesn't yell at me and 2. I can use the ActiveX extension for the iKVM rather than a Java viewer, and I find the ActiveX one to work better and faster.

Is vSwap allocated in RAM or Disk?

SWAP is on drives. vSWAP is in the node's RAM unless the node REALLY needs to swap.

    The truth about ColoCrossing

Perhaps allow Verified Providers to edit their posts in certain subforums (offers, etc.) with no time limit, and make it a 24h period for edits otherwise?

    Looking for a USA 8GB+ 8 Core+

Your best bet for this is a dedicated server. These stats on a VPS (mainly the RAM and CPU) are a little high. BlueVM could do it with a KVM (bring your own license though) or we have a wide range of Dedicated servers in Buffalo. https://www.bluevm.com/cart.php?gid=31 Last I checked you can rent...

Windows Sidebar Vulnerability (Windows Vista and 7)

I'm debating keeping mine enabled for the CPU/RAM meter widget. And the HE.net IPv4 exhaustion widget. EDIT: And the sliding puzzle thing. Best time waster EVER.

Windows Sidebar Vulnerability (Windows Vista and 7)

I think the main concern is that a user could be tricked into installing a widget by some site/fake download. So long as its enabled, it's a risk.

Windows Sidebar Vulnerability (Windows Vista and 7)

Apparently the Windows Sidebar (which is what the Gadgets system was based on) has a security vulnerability, potentially allowing a maliciously written gadget to commandeer your system. They've released an automated Fix-It to solve the problem. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/dn261332
