    vpsBoard advertisements and availability

I feel the Ad makes people [those who do not know BuyVM] mistake that you only offer OpenVZ until they click and reach your site. For those who know BuyVM there is no Ad required :P

Is vSwap allocated in RAM or Disk?

Swap on RAID0? It can be fatal for the VPS (assuming swap is in use) should it fail, right?

Is vSwap allocated in RAM or Disk?

Thanks all for the replies. It makes it much clear to me. Quick question. Is there a way I can know whether my OpenVZ VPS's Swap is writing to RAM or Disks?

Is vSwap allocated in RAM or Disk?

I thought vSwap is guaranteed unlike Burst memory. Is it not like that?

Is vSwap allocated in RAM or Disk?

Thanks for the quick responses. That means moderate to heavy swapping of VPS should ideally not cause any performance problems, correct? It also makes me wonder how providers like Crissic are able to offer more vSwap than RAM when technically both should be part of Physical RAM of the node.

Is vSwap allocated in RAM or Disk?

I see vSwap has replaced Burst RAM in OpenVZ products with most providers. So this vSwap is allocated in Physical Memory or Disk Storage by the VPS providers?

    Rage4dns question.

Fliphost does offer Rage4 DNS for free to their customers without any limitations. They have a custom interface to DNS management which I find a bit slow at times. You will not get the kind of reporting on Rage4's panel but there won't be any limitations on number of requests.

    Apache 2.4 Mess

Unless you are looking for specific improvements, how about completely purging Apache 2.4 and installing 2.2 ? While I generally prefer Nginx, recently been trying Apache (2.2) especially for the ease of installing/configuring mod_pagespeed from Google.

    Dallas VPS Providers

Being happy a customer of their SSD VPS, I can suggest you Fliphost. I think their OpenVZ servers are in Dallas only. Check below link for an idea of their plans. http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/10712/
