No customer will do this because they all fear Aldryic.someone should spam on the same block as vpsboard to show the admins how it feels to be blacklisted when another user spams?
really so if one person spams the other users can not send emails?
how is this fair?
i had spamhus block my email servers for 2 months because another user in that ip block spammed.
so is this fair?
vpsboard is using Mandrill to send outbound and blacklisting is unlikely as Mandrill takes care of spam on their network.someone should spam on the same block as vpsboard to show the admins how it feels to be blacklisted when another user spams?
Why would you wait 2 months for it to be resolved? What provider were you using?really so if one person spams the other users can not send emails?

Emails are dispatched via Mandrill anyway, but I'm sure the IPs I am assigned from most my providers (RamNode, BuyVM, AnyNode, Hostigation, DigitalOcean, RocketVPS, WiredTree, SecureDragon, etc) would be clean or cleaned quickly in the event of a blacklisting. I choose providers who I feel are capable and competent.someone should spam on the same block as vpsboard to show the admins how it feels to be blacklisted when another user spams?
MX Tooolbox is showing the MX record for VPSB is hosted at Digital Ocean. Digital Ocean's business plan doesn't include renting entire blocks to spammers (or rotating spammers through their blocks, subsidiaries, etc) so when Spamhaus blacklists a Digital Ocean IP the SBL is almost always only for a /32 (unlike SBL's for spam friendly providers like CC/CVPS/BlueVM/123Sys/HVH where entire /24, /25, /15's get placed on the SBL).someone should spam on the same block as vpsboard to show the admins how it feels to be blacklisted when another user spams?

That's your provider's fault, not Spamhaus. Try hosting with legitimate companies that actually handle abuse reports instead of CC/HF 'providers'.really so if one person spams the other users can not send emails?

Spamhaus doesn't do /24 listings on us, just the offending IPs. They know me on a first name basis, and know that I handle any SBLs within hours - hell, half the time we don't even get listed, they just email me with the logs.someone should spam on the same block as vpsboard to show the admins how it feels to be blacklisted when another user spams?
My provider had a /26 with the compney it was a /22 blacklisted. That's your provider's fault, not Spamhaus. Try hosting with legitimate companies that actually handle abuse reports instead of CC/HF 'providers'.

Nope - nothing at all.Getting blacklisted for spam has nothing to do with DMCA notices though, or am I missing something here?
(I also did a quick Google search on JDR Hosting and I really wouldn't call them honest if they're so active in blackhat forums/groups with many complaints to their name.)
Just remembered that I did order with false info and no intention of paying, and their WHMCS mail hit my spam box - SpamHaus recorded the IP as dirty. Oh CC/CVPS, as if we didn't have enough reason to hate you.Today's LEB offer from VPSAce (with CC, as I'm sure most know) includes 25 cent IPs. I was tempted to pick one up to see if they were giving the IPs away because they were dirty (though the test IPs weren't), but I don't want to have anything to do with CC.
its not vpsace fault.Just remembered that I did order with false info and no intention of paying, and their WHMCS mail hit my spam box - SpamHaus recorded the IP as dirty. Oh CC/CVPS, as if we didn't have enough reason to hate you.
[sarcasm]You're right, they're saints.[/sarcasm]its not vpsace fault.
Considering that Spamhaus is an anti-spam organization, and ColoCrossing is not only known for willingly selling to spammers, but outright lies to Spamhaus about dealing with them.. well, sure, of course Spamhaus is going to treat them more harshly. And I don't fault them in the slightest for it.[...] the whole spamhaus thing in relation to CC looks like some personal vendeta against them [..]
That's why we need spam databases not run by robots - real humans can use "justified prejudice" against a provider who is known to be spammer-friendly, as opposed to robots just automatically banning IPs.Considering that Spamhaus is an anti-spam organization, and ColoCrossing is not only known for willingly selling to spammers, but outright lies to Spamhaus about dealing with them.. well, sure, of course Spamhaus is going to treat them more harshly.
