One gotcha is Rackspace's email package is limited to 250 emails per day.  Quite a low limit in my opinion.   They do have Mailgun now acquired by Rackspace and something like 50k emails broadcast a month free according to online support folks. Mandrill looks good and pricing low enough...  But...
