Setting up a restricted (whitelist) proxy

@wlanboy, yet another bookmarked submission from you. This is a really good, quick, free, safe solution.   Can see using this for the young ones and for anything that is a kiosk :)

    Is HVH owned by Colocrossing?

The info is there and the belief of what is going on is real, or I wouldn't bother. Just like Uncle Drunky told folks for a year over on LET that CC was ghost operating LET/LEB.  Feel free to doubt all you want :)  You will see reality soon enough.

    Is HVH owned by Colocrossing?

:) Cute. Who says I am an ex employee of CC :) ? I told folks that CC was/is ghost operating companies.   I know HVH was having "liquidity" issues and perhaps fell behind with CC on invoices.   If you go back on HVH posts, they  really suddenly changed up their offers, started selling...

    Any app developers here?

True @jcaleb, sad but true. I just love the Droid dance... I can't install that app, cause I am out of space.... Doh!  So many hurdles, so little time, patience and space :)

    VPSWiki.us Looking For Providers History!

Good work @Mun.  The wiki really is starting to take shape.   I like the profiles you have so far.  Some interesting/helpful/neat info.    Keep going with it.  Providers are busy folks, so often a tad hard to reach. My recommendation ---  create a form or something similar they can fill out...

    Misterhost... Not again

Misterhost? Glad to say I don't know to contribute to them. Cancelling services like this on a customer is simply stupid.  How hard is it to specify the reason?  Yeah Tor is a crap magnet and trouble. @Joodle, head over to the Offers section and find another provider.

    I'm speechless...

Welcome @wearehidden. Clearly, the service from SecureDragon isn't one that is a great fit for your needs. I sympathize with your need/want to help during a time of national censorship. Here are a few things I'd recommend reading up on: 1. Web based proxies.   Glype is one such free software...

Have a project in need of server space? I might be able to help...

BlueVM lately has been stepping up it's reputation in the community :) Mighty kind and forward thinking of BlueVM to put this out there.

Repeated Fraud from the Same /24

Yowzers.  Glad you folks are powwowing about the perp(s).  Sounds like multiple levels of attacks and quite a few compromised PayPal accounts.

    I'm speechless...

People are ridiculous. Account was posted in public, account was used to attack internal systems. Account cancelled. Me, I'd be looking to see if you can determine where this customer came from originally and steer away from promotion/visibility there.

25.1gb/s attack incoming flood - advice?

I am perplexed also as to why the only DDoS protection services seem to be US West Coast :)  Certainly CNServers, Awknet, etc. must realize there is demand for such elsewhere in the US? Kansas City and Dallas are two rather large markets where someone could do quite well offering such services.

What would you pay monthly for this?

I'd pay $40 with a handful of IPs.   Maybe $49.

    Incerno giving away free IPv4?

A tad strange Gordon/Incero is pushing the IPV4 like this.  He just got oddly tight about IP allocation a few weeks back. Certainly is an allocation party on his part with this move. Combating other bargain providers?  Maybe part of it too. IPV6 needs to become enabled all over and put this...

25.1gb/s attack incoming flood - advice?

Well, you should test Voxility from their network to Cogent. Did this from Romania to a Cogent point in Europe (non UK).   Routing was all snafued, long tailed out of the way and handed off to several providers.   That was, oh 6+ months ago. My understanding is the Cogent issue with Voxility...

Kim Dot Com sues for defenses

Patent wars. I don't buy Kim's $50 million price tag fighting the US gestapo.  It won't be cheap, but certainly won't be $50 million. Sounds like extortion via proxy his threats. Either he has a patent claim or doesn't.  If he does, he should get to collecting license money or suing.
