Staminus sites offline - massively hacked

not even sure if they said card info was public and plaintext.  They sugar coated it all as fine and nothing out there = crypto'd.

Ramnode is just an end customer.  So no Ramnode data that impacts customers of Ramnode. Likely information relative to Ramnode's own account in the dump though.

The Great Netflix VPN Block of 2016

It's quirky.  When there is a blip due to a nested VPN, you have to just go get a beverage and come back.. usually just some wonkiness that cleans up.   Might be seconds, might take upwards of a minute.  Most of it is origin of mixing in a shitty VPS provider with a node being dinged or latency...

The Great Netflix VPN Block of 2016

... and let's be honest about things... when one goes avoiding plaintext (everyone should) malicious ISPs flag you, QoS things, flag you, etc.   So the avoidance and intentional privacy intent must march forward. Still doesn't solve the fingerprinting via leaky crap (that's why to turn off...

The Great Netflix VPN Block of 2016

Everyone should be concerned and at least attempt to make things hard and thusly earned by the bad guys (hackers, thieves, government, foreign governments, etc.).

Damnit, Tor serving these files ... is ... SLOW! The dump files are GIGANTIC.  GBs  in size.. One is 3GB, another 10GB, another 14GB....

Staminus sites offline - massively hacked

Staminus needs to go fuck off in a confession booth too. Like not collecting SSNs and Tax IDs + crypto hash on password somehow exempts you from legal action? I won't say I am making a love package for various attorney generals, but I won't deny it either.  I am grabbing the data and...

Staminus sites offline - massively hacked

The schema they have there for storing card details - ALONE - should spell legal implications. The scumfucks at ServerMania need stopped. They are nothing more than co-conspirators with the ColoCrossing guys.   For a company to dip this low to snag the details and hit customers directly...

Staminus sites offline - massively hacked

Tracked down a bit of the data from the Staminus hack...  Working on the rest to see how ugly this really is. As far as Staminus customers who used a credit card, your data is fully there in a file and details are in PLAINTEXT.  Totally a PCI violation and wrong way to handle bankcard data by...

    My homemade slow webserver

Love you @wlanboy Neato to see Zip drive attached to more modern and lowly hardware.  In the days of Zip drives CPU MHz speed was lower than that Pi (performance comparison is another story though on Intel vs. ARM).  Those were out when we were pushing about 500MHz I do believe. Somewhere...

Staminus sites offline - massively hacked

Should be expected that anything controversial is going to be behind filtering.  It's just how the hate (pun intended) goes.   Plenty of legit businesses who have been attempted victims of DDOS extortion behind filtering also.   So not everyone behind filtering is on the wrong side of social...

Catching up :) This isn't the first time Staminus has been dinged.  Prior they had their DDoS protection platform / scrubbing / process code released to public.

The Great Netflix VPN Block of 2016

All of my networks are gatewayed out via VPN and nested VPN within that on a per client basis.  Just standard protocol.  Nothing leaves anywhere otherwise. Billing address and IP correlation wouldn't make sense in my instance since the subscription was bought using the very same VPN network...

    Provider vs. Proxy

I respect folks wanting to avoid fraud and chargebacks. I recommend companies out there have solid alt payment options for at-risk customers like us.  Stuff like store cards or Bitcoin where no refunds are given and risk pooled. Everything in my environments is via VPN.  Remote office and...

The Great Netflix VPN Block of 2016

I'm not mad.  I just can't get Netflix to work. Smells like massive block list of commercial IPs. I am pro blacklisting malicious stuff. Netflix knew doing this was going to cause backlash.  They should have taken a softer stance. Mark my words, Netflix will soften on this IP blocking...

The 2016 (USA) Presidential Election Thread

US definitely didn't win Vietnam and damn nearly had the country go nuts over it. Shame Americans are so slow to wake up to the scams and get out and try to change things though.  Hasn't been a proper declared war with the US since at least WW2. War is a racket, so declared Major...

The 2016 (USA) Presidential Election Thread

Hahaha Grenada.  Canada was just upset since Ca and Gre nada are subtly close in name.  We are coming for those big headed moose.   UN did what about that?  Nothing?  Had a hissy fit and called the Republicans dangerous German actors?  The rage of then resembles the rage of today.

    Provider vs. Proxy

I entirely missed this thread and find it to have use. I live on VPN.  Have ran into providers who demand I get off the VPN and login otherwise. Meh, yeah utility to such a list.
