There's only one edit link unless you have multiple IPs. IPv6 button is to add and manage IPv6 Addresses, such as managing rDNS and mounting certain IPv6 addresses to your container.

    SOA DNS error help

Here's what you do. You login to your VPS Control Panel. You look at your server's main page. Click on the tab that says "Network" (should be near the bottom of the screen) Under "Reverse DNS" you'll see a linked text that says "[Edit]" You press that. You'll get a popup that says "Edit...

ColoCrossing's Buffalo, NY network is slowing down? Too many Spammers?

Boom. Ruthless. I've seen quite a few networks start adopting this actually. Bigger headache to deal with is right. While I totally understand from those legit users who are affected, in the end time saved not having to deal with malicious CC traffic is time earned to spend on more productive...

    Raspberry Pi 2

Haha wow. I didn't know P4s were still used as desktops! Props to you man! I ditched my old AMD Athlon 64 desktop like 6 years ago. The ODROIDs are awesome I will admit, but they don't have the enormous backing of the Raspberry Pi community. That's mostly what's keeping me from purchasing an...

Observium - Monitoring Server and Client Installation Tutorial

Yeah the Unix Agent honestly isn't that hard to setup. The only major problem is that it's pretty finicky and a little more complicated than setting up SNMP. However, Unix Agent does allow for easier customization on the data being sent over (as well as using a totally different port).

Aaaannddd...  that's beautiful!  I love you!   Yeah those modifications could help out.  I've never actually used nunim's automated script (nor knew it existed since I've always just configured stuff manually).  That's useful!   Thanks for the additional content @DomainBop!

Needaserver.net Review - Dedicated Server [LA]

Yikes.  Sorry to hear about that.   Glad everything worked out for the clients.  That's pretty... odd...  that SSD would just act like that.  Also the IPs?   Hope everything gets settled out in the end.

Things to consider when choosing Colocation?

Hey bud!  This is nothing against you but many people (including myself and a few of us on the admin staff) are pretty salty about CC (as you already probably know by now).  Fantastic you're not having problems with them.  I hope you're not affected by their network problem right now.   I...

Things to consider when choosing Colocation?

yeah those Dual L5420s usually max out around 1.5A or so at 110V (as a general rule of thumb).   The Model Number should be just an old Rackable S5000PSL 2U.  But yeah HDDs/SSDs numbers would be nice. I wish these used 1.1A max.  Dual L5420 consume much more power (granted less than what it...

Observium - Monitoring Server and Client Installation Tutorial

There are a wide range of server and network monitoring software available out there. Just to name a few, you have Munin, Nagios/Icinga, Zabbix, PRTG, and of course ServerStatus by Mojeda and Mun. All those alternatives are fantastic. I could talk about the key benefits of every single...
