    Ideas and suggestions for vpsBoard

@Mods, I seriously feel the need for having Google Custom Search (CSE) to be incorporated into this site as the default search is quite lacking. Especially with some posts in Archived condition, the current forum search is almost useless. @D. Strout, Would you like to write a monkey script for...

Could be. But I think BlueVM is not one man show.

    BlueVM shared hosting down

18 hours of downtime without any communication from the host is unusual. As much I do not want to relate pricing with QoS, it does play a role probably.

Reserving Disk Space you Purchased from the Oversold VPS providers

Great discussion indeed! I learned how different providers think about their OpenVZ offerings. I still have two questions in relation to this discussion: Do providers consider usage of OpenVZ VPS for backup purpose as abuse (assuming disk space is consumed to full)? Getting a KVM/XEN is the...

Reserving Disk Space you Purchased from the Oversold VPS providers

How do you identify usage and wastage as a provider? If not filling random data, I might consume the additional free space (whatever left over from my webserving needs) to store my photos or videos. Will you consider this as usage or wastage? I can agree to that customers on your OverZold...

How to Optimize Apache for 128MB VPS?

@wlanboy, Thank you for presenting the various configurable items. What are the most used or most unused Apache modules in general? I use my VPSes for running CMS like WP with page caching enabled. So it is mostly (say ~80%) static content that the webserver will have to serve. Also I prefer...

How to Optimize Apache for 128MB VPS?

In general Apache is known to consume much more memory than Nginx. But I keep coming across comments like "if configured properly Apache works fine too". so I am looking for how to optimize Apache on a 128MB VPS and yet handle as much traffic possible. It will also be useful if you can provide...

Reserving Disk Space you Purchased from the Oversold VPS providers

@, Thank you for the nice tutorial. I think it will be cool to have a script that can do all the job based on an input of how much GB I want reserved :) Now waiting for someone to write a tutorial for ways to keep my guaranteed RAM (not the burst) reserved  ;)
