Not really.
The thing with a lot of what he says is you never know what's legit and what is him just testing for 'leaks'. You don't know if he's trying to test your loyalty/willingness to keep 'secrets', etc.
If he's getting sloshed and standing a chance at hurting himself, or worse, someone else, then it may be time to call for help.

The US news is always a beautiful source of all of this for politicians and faith leaders. You'll hear more than a few cases a year about some senator, etc, has a thing for barely (or not at all) legal people.
The best ones are always the priests/etc that go on the rants about how the world must kill all gays as they're a cancer/etc/etc/etc, and yet how many of them have been found out to have a gay lover somewhere? They need to be more like the French. Yep, they've got a mistress. Yep, they don't give a single hoot and won't be stepping down.

Not so long ago we had a lad who used the name CurtisG here. He was active in other communities also. Smart young man, a little off (most of us are), well intentioned, but would go off course in ugly ways.
He had tendencies to DOX folks (push out personal info, phone #'s, address info, etc.). His fun and hacking escalated allegedly into SWATTING folks.
We try to discourage too severe actions or things that cross lines from pointing and online to in real life and meat mashing.
But, in the case of GVH, prior, yeah his number and all is out there. Supposedly police were sent to his house during an episode where he went talking suicide - for a wellness check.
I have my reservations about Jonny GVH and why his parents don't see their child lingering at computer 18 hours a day and all the other negatives. Not talking crap about them or their parenting methods, but someone should have tended to him better by now.

anyways for those of you who don't know, he was arrested a while back although last I heard he's peading innocence and claiming he was set up. Set up my ass.

Did he scam folks? Honestly, if so, that wasn't apparent or prior behavior before I started paying attention to the fella.
I have no love for scammers. Failures in this industry, I am alright about usually. But outright scammers errr, no.
Yes...he was well-known on several forums for that. I know someone personally who was affected by his scams.
